What do you SEE?

Our Yesteryears of Whirling and peace-filled earshot could have been battered….

…Shattered by the stinking seed of Purposeless SELFISHNESS & Collective UNRIGHTEOUSNESS

The Dreams of our glorious midnights…The nightmares in our dawning morning..

Moments when all the signs of HOPE have been beclouded By Celebrated Evil & Lies

We must again visit the tomb of our unsullied hope and PASSION for a better Nation.

We must again utilize our tears and sweat for the remolding of the broken WALLS.

We must again tame our self-centered and TRIBALISTIC pet…

We must again starve the craze in RELIGION and the fame of anti-humanity

Our strength and FUTURE does not lie in the world-acclaimed structural deformities

Our Future lies in our Minds… In our SPIRIT(s)… and In our Hands.

We are the builder of our Jeru (Place) of Salem (Peace).

From the Smiling roads of Abakaliki to the Busy Markets in Onitsha.

From the ancient Streets in Zaria, to the Moody Mountains along Abeokuta.

I see a Nation where Responsible Citizens are allowed to LIVE and enjoy her own wealth.

A Nation where Evil shall bow before RIGHTEOUSNESS…

A Nation where Exemplary LEADERS are made via living examples

A Nation where Love, Honesty, TRUTH, Justice, Excellence cum Finesse Reigns

I see a better Nation in FEW Years... I see a great LIGHT after the Tunnels of Darkness

I see Hope beyond the Ruins…What do you SEE?

Happy Independence.

Hill Song's -From The Inside Out

This song has blessed me...

A thousand times I've failed
Still your mercy remains
Should I stumble again
Still I'm caught in your grace
Everlasting, your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, your glory goes beyond all fame

Your will above all else
My purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise
Everlasting, your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, your glory goes beyond all fame

In my heart, in my soul
I give you control
Consume me from the inside out
Let justice and praise
Become my embrace
To love you from the inside out

Everlasting, your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring you praise
From the inside out
Lord my soul cries out

...In Eternal Life

That’s Not How Things Are In Eternal Life

When I hear talk of Eternity,
these thoughts, unbidden, come to me…

No more will there be any tears,
no more feelings of gripping fears.
We’ll never again experience sorrow;
in Eternity, “now” is already tomorrow.

Nor will we ever again feel pain,
and all that happens will be our gain!
Never again will we see hate,
nor ever again see an empty plate.

All that our Father, God, creates,
will give us reason to celebrate!
Our toil will not be full of strife…
that’s not how things are in Eternal Life!

THE VOICE OF MOSES... THE HAND OF JESUS

After a wounderful church service on a sunday evening, i got home tired(Powerful Service) and thus, decided to relax. While trying to cool off my head, i discovered that one of the churches in my neighbourhood was yet to *share* the grace. So, i started imagining what could have kept them till that time of the day, until i heard one of the members speaking unusually. I figured out that she was a seer declaring the things she was seeing in the spirit,so, i decided to get a good glimpse of her *Spirikoko Communique* "Those who grumbled in the course of the service about closing late should come to the altar' She said. The resident pastor echoed this in the ears of the members and i guess they all obeyed. She then continued, 'Thus says the Lord, i have decided to bless you today, yet, you are grumbling...' The resident pastor told everyone to cry out loud to God so he could have mercy on them. They obeyed again(do they have a choice?) and the seer said 'As a result of this, you must all fast for a WHOLE DAY from 9AM-6PM'. You must stay in church throughout this day. You dare not attempt to get out of the church not even to urinate or pick up anything'-god of Elijah!!! Friends, i was shocked. I had not recovered from this when i heard another stunning statement: 'How dare you call this SERVANT OF GOD a small girl, she is greater than your forefathers.' She was actually referring to herself. Immediately, i stopped paying further attention to those words because they do not speak of the Abba, Father I know. Beloved, it is important we understand that in a human head, there are four major gates with two broad divisions: the eyes and ears, the mouth and nose. The eyes and ears feed the soul while the other two feed the body. Whatever you see and hear affects your mind and thus, your life. No wonder the scripture says 'Faith cometh by hearing and hearing the word of God. (Rom.10:17) and same goes for fear. It is so certain that the congregation would obey the instruction of not urinating for hours because they grumbled. If they develop any kidney problem as a result of this, they would start another fasting and praying thinking the devil is at work. The scripture says 'Test all things, hold fast that which is good'(1 hessalonians 5:21). Every word spoken concerning your life must go through what i call 'THE WORD-TEST'. In other words, place every utterance side by side with God's word and any word that does not pass this test cannot stand. Moreover, we are no longer under the old covenant where laws and consequence are in operation. Our salvation was not based on our performance but was propelled by God's LOVE for the world. The substitutionary work on the cross delivered unto us(believers) GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS through Christ Jesus, in place of our sins and gave us access into the throne room. Christ did not just come to take away our sins but also to restore fellowship with God, which was lost back then in the Garden of Eden. Thus, this is a call to FELLOWSHIP with the father through the word so as not to be tossed to and fro by the wind of various doctrines, especially in these very perilious times. Get your bibles and dig in revelational truths into your life. The status of any man of God can not be as a great as the potent, immortal and life-giving Status of the Word of God. Live your life with this line... (If e no be Panadol, e no fit be Panadol).. If it is not the WORD OF GOD, then it is not God's Word for me) Welcome to September!

CONCENTRATE!

CONCENTRATE..

Even as we begin a consistent flow of updates in here; i'd like to share with you an inspiring Theme that has changed my life. I'm so sure a reader needs this piece for such a time as this.. Please,Enjoy!

''

Distraction is anything that can be used to take your attention from the real thing. You should take lesson from the life of Paul the Apostle. In Philipians 3, Paul said "this one thing I do". A man of focus is the man who can say this one thing i do. That one thing is the thing that is on the agenda of God for you which He asked you to do at that time. When you deviate from that one thing into other othings, you have been distracted. The following are things that will keep you from distractions in life.

1. Know your calling in life (Eph. 1:17-18): You must understand the specific call of God for your life. This will keep you from running another man's race. There are many people today running the race of another man. What they are doing is not what God called them to do. You will give account of the call of God over your life!

2. Understand your identity (1 Cor. 15:10): One day, satan appeared to the Lord Jesus and said, "If you are the Son of God..." the intention of satan was to confuse Jesus of his identity in order to deceive him, but Jesus was never confused about his identity, He did not need to prove anything to show that He was the Son of God. You must understand your identity. Make sure you are not comparing yourself to any other person, no matter what. You are unique under God; seek to understand your identity from the Lord and live in the light of that.

3. Know the main issue in your life now (Acts 6:3-4): God does not tell you what is next on your agenda, instead He tells you what is next on His Agenda for you. Whatever takes you from the agenda of God for your life is a distraction. Be focused, dont meddle in what does not concern you.

4. Separate the most important issue in your life from the urgent matters: Know the important issue in God's plan for your life now and follow it. The most important issue may not be the urgent, do not allow the devil push you into what is urgent but not important.

5. Know your own people: There are some people that God has ordained for you to help you make your destiny happen. When these man are absent in your life, wrong people will come into your life. When the devil can not do ordinarily, he will use wrong people to accomplish it in your life. (Gen.38, Deut 33:7)

"

I strongly believe one of the best way to get your spirit, soul and body into your purpose for living is to simply ASSOCIATE(NO 5) with those who are doing the same. Keep enjoying His Peace, even as we await His second coming.

WHY I READ MORE AND REMEMBER LESS!

Forgetting is normal and necessary. Your brain is bombarded with millions of bits of information every day. All of this information could not possibly be stored, nor is it important enough to remember for any length of time. The mind decides what information is unimportant and immediately disregards it. What your mind remembers is what you need to function. There are strategies to use that will increase your ability to remember important information.

 TYPES OF MEMORY
Sensory Memory – We are constantly processing information gathered through our senses. Through selective attention, your mind determines what of the huge  amount of incoming information is important and ignores the rest. When you concentrate on your professor’s lecture or the discussion that is going on you use selective attention  to deem this information important. Although sensory information is only kept in your
mind a few seconds, by concentrating on a certain piece of information, you can transfer it to your short-term memory.
Short-Term Memory – Information in your short-term memory lasts only about a minute. When you meet someone and they tell you their name, chances are, an hour later, you won’t remember their name. By reciting and rehearsing information like  names, lists or phone numbers, you can increase your retention of the information. Short-term memory is limited, however. The average number of items you can keep in
short-term memory is seven. To remember larger amounts of information you must group it into common themes, memorize “chunks” of information at once, or use other strategies to improve retention.
Long-Term Memory – Once information is moved to long-term memory, it is  integrated with existing information. If this integration is not successfully done, the information may get “lost” and will be harder to recall. Long-term memory is like a giant warehouse full of file cabinets. You take information you know and you place it in existing “files.” If there is no existing file and you do not create one by integrating like
information, the information may be more difficult to recall.

The 3 R’s of Memory

Reception – Be attentive and observant. This will help you receive important
information more easily. Engage all of your senses. Look at the professor, listen to the
lecture and discussion, and take notes. Ask questions if you aren’t clear about
something. If you don’t understand, you won’t be able to remember. Survey before
reading the material. If you know what the selection is about before reading, you will be
more attentive to the information.

Retention – Make a conscious effort to remember what is being said. If you set goals for your performance and motivate yourself this will give you the incentive to remember. Become an active reader by highlighting and marking your text. Review your notes frequently to increase your retention. Recite your notes aloud when  possible. By using both your visual and auditory senses, you will increase your retention
rate. Do all your homework when it is assigned. Using information in and out of the classroom will help you remember it better. See the list of Memory Aids for tips on improving your memory.
Recollection – Organize your material before the test. Group tests, summaries, and notes according to chapters and similar topics. Make a list of important topics and what you should know about them. The week before the test set up a block of time (2-3 hours) to thoroughly review the information. Remember to take breaks when studying!  During the test visualize your diagrams and flashcards to help remember the
information. Use practice tests to study. Anticipate possible test questions and make up  your own test or look at old tests if they are available from the professor.

Memory Aids
Mnemonics – rhymes, sayings or phrases that repeat or codify the information you’re
trying to remember.
HOMES – an acronym that stands for the first letter of each of the five Great Lakes
Fall Back, Spring Ahead – this phrase helps you remember Daylight Savings Time
Thirty days hath September… - this jingle helps you remember how many days there are
in each of the twelve months.

Associate – Relate the information you’re trying to remember to something you already
know. To help remember the three stages of memory (reception, retention, and
recollection) you can associate the mind with a computer. By recalling the computer’s
three processes (input, storage, and output) you will be able to remember the stages of
memory.

Visualize – Drawing out pictures and diagrams makes the information easier to recall by
visualizing the drawing while taking the test. When memorizing the names of bones in
the body, draw a human skeleton and label the bones. During the test, visualize the
skeleton and you will be able to remember the names.

Flashcards – Write key words or terms that you need to know on one side of an index
card. Write the explanation or definition on the other side of the card. Carry these cards
with you and review them as often as possible.

Even if you forget all, do not forget Jesus remains the way, the truth and the life and His coming is sooner than you've ever thought! Receive and serve his whole-heartedly today, for a RENEWED mind and hope!
